Not Getting Enough Ads click on my website and I’m spending on Facebook, what is happening?

If you’re into arbitrage blogging and struggling to get clicks, don’t worry, you’re not alone! There are two major reasons this could be happening.

Assuming your AdSense account isn’t under a click limit, the issue usually boils down to one of these:

1. Ad Placements, or…

2. The Content of Your Ads

Today, let’s focus on the content of your ads and how it can make or break your CTR (Click-Through Rate).

Imagine you’re running a scholarship campaign. It’s safe to say that most of the visitors clicking on that campaign are interested in, you guessed it, scholarships.

Now, if someone lands on your site from this campaign and sees ads about scholarships, there’s a high chance they’ll click on them. Why? Because it aligns with their interests.

But what happens if the ads are about unrelated topics like shopping on Konga or Jumia? Most likely, they’ll ignore the ads, leaving your clicks and CTR in the dust.

The ads on your site need to match the intent of your campaign. If your FB campaign brought them in with scholarship-related content, make sure your site’s ads are also scholarship-focused. This kind of synergy between your campaign and your site is important for higher clicks and CTR.

So how do you get AdSense to show ads related to your campaign content? That’s a topic for another day, but for now, remember this:

What someone clicks on in your campaign is a strong indicator of what they’re interested in. Keep your ads aligned with that interest to maximize clicks and conversions.

Without synergy between your campaigns and your ads, your CTR will always struggle. Focus on that connection, and watch your results improve!
